Publication ethics includes different issues and aspects that arises during the publiction process of academic research. These issues includes copyright, creative commons, plagiarism and ethical dilemmas arising from these.

Intended learning outcomes
After completing the course module, the student should be familiar with the following concepts and discussions
- Be aware of, and be able to discuss, how publications can be used without copyright infringement or plagiarism.
- Have basic knowledge of copyright, creative commons and and discuss how to use references, citations and creative commons in your research
- Be able to discuss the three basic parts of research misconduct and the implications thereof
- Be able to discuss publication ethics in general and questionable research practices in particular
